Sterling Silver Lovelinks Jewellery
Lovelinks also do a range of sterling silver links which like the murano glass links come in a very large, wide variety of styles, shapes and sizes.
All of the links are made from 925 (purity of the silver 92.5% pure silver and the other 7.5% alloys added to the silver) sterling silver. Some people find that silver makes their skin turn an odd colour, however that was due to nickel content in silver which in the pat years has been reduced massively which now means many people who could not wear silver five years ago now find that since this has changed they are able to wear it without it causing a reaction to their skin!
The links each have a silicone centre in them (some designs do not as it is not possible) this is because the Lovelinks bracelet has an end stopper and two stoppers built on to the bracelet to divide the bracelet into three sections. To put the links on you just have to apply a little force to get the link over the stopper, this way the links do not fall of when removing it from your wrist or neck. You can then either space the links out around the bracelet putting a few in each section or group them together in one section. One nice thing about spreading the links around is then when you move your wrist there are still some links visible.
The silver links come in many different designs. Available is fairly plain narrow links that sit nicely in-between the murano glass links. There is also a large range of patterned links that do not specifically symbolise anything but again go nicely in-between other links to brake them up a little bit. There is a wide variety of different animal charms available which many customers like to have on their bracelet to symbolise pets and favourite animals. Then there is a also a wide variety of different charms with hearts, flowers and star designs which again many people like as often symbolises things and are very pretty. The hearts are great for birthday, anniversaries and valentines gifts. There are also many link that symbolise other things such as the birth of a child, marriage, mother’s day, hobbies, Christmas, congratulations on different things for example; graduation & passing a driving test and many more!
Also there are links to celebrate birthdays with links engraved or stone set with different numbers, i.e. 21 which is a lovely touch to add to someone’s bracelet to make it that bit extra special. Another touch to add is the initial charms which are available in a few different designs, some people have theses with their personal initial also many people have initials of people that are special and close to them for example their children, partner etc.
Something else that adds another touch to your bracelet is the silver links that are set with different coloured cubic zirconia stones and Swarovski crystals which adds a great sparkle and touch of colour to your bracelet especially if you only have silver links on your bracelet. These colours include different shades of pink, blue, green, and purple, also black, clear and many other different colours too! Also is pendant links which normally have a silver bale sometimes plain or set and then silver features, cubic zirconia or freshwaters pearls hanging from them which again adds and extra touch to you bracelet. Both the stones set and pendant links work very well as a centre feature on a Lovelinks necklace.
All of these links come with either a polished or brushed finish effect.
Please note all genuine Lovelinks are made from 925 sterling silver, as mentioned above. Most of the links will be stamped ‘925’ but may not be stamped with Lovelinks as well like on the edging of the murano glass links. This is because on most of the silver links do not have enough space to be stamped with any more then the ‘925’ stamp.
Our Advice:
To keep your links looking their best then we suggest to clean them with a silver cloth (available to purchase in most jewellers) this will then remove any dirt and keep them looking shiny and like new! With the brushed effect links the best way to clean them is with a day-to-day rubber, just a light rub over the link will remove any dirt and show the brushed finish more effectively again. You do not need to be quite as fragile with silver links as you do the murano glass links but I would still advise to remove the bracelet when doing physical things as silver is a soft metal, and to remove when going to bed.
Please also not that if you have links with freshwater pearl they are a natural stone there for try to prevent perfumes and chemicals touching them as this can damage their natural lustre which can erode and dis-colour them.
