Lovelinks Bracelets
Lovelinks bracelets are made from 925 sterling silver some have a 22ct gold plating coating them to give the appearance of a yellow gold bracelet.
Most of the bracelets are of a snake style chain either round (majority of them) or a square shaped snake and you have the choice of high polished finish, oxidised, black rhodium or gold plating, the variety of finishes are not available on bracelet designs but sometimes it is possible to be made as a special order (costing extra).
On average the bracelet is approximately 2.8 mm thick and come in a variety of lengths starting from 16cm up to 23cm, not all designs are available in this wide variety of lengths. We advise to leave 3cm to allow room for links. Fixed onto the bracelet is two stopper links which then divides the bracelet into three sections so when you only have a few beads you are able to spread the link around the bracelets or keep all of them in one section together. The stopper links built on work effectively as each individual link has a silicone centre therefore you need to apply slight pressure to get the beads onto the bracelet and over the stoppers to position and order them where you wish, this makes it very easy to be able to interchange and change the order of you bracelet.
Also there is a variety of clasp designs that are available for the different bracelets (not interchangeable with other bracelets, these are fixed) there are choices you can have a plain trigger style clasp, heart, flower, butterfly and also t-bar designs with either a heart or a circle. With the heart design there is also some more choices with more detail within the heart for example some have flowers, stars or cubic zirconia stones set into the heart.
There is also the option of having a leather bracelet; again they do a few different designs, clasps and colours. You have the choice of a single thick leather strand with a round or heart shaped open clasp. Or a three stranded bracelet which is available with a sterling silver clasp with black leather or a sterling silver, gold plated clasp with brown leather these bracelets are available in lengths 19cm and 21cm. Also they do necklace length leather (55cm) which is available in red, black, pink and turquoise with the idea that you can coil it around to give the effect of wearing three bracelets twisted together.
The final alternative to this is to have a Lovelinks bangle which is available in two different styles, and open torque style or a full twist style. These both have on screw ball that you simply un-screw and then thread the links onto the bangle. Again like the silver bracelets it has two fixed stoppers built on.
Our advice:
Silver bracelets can be completely full with links (silver & glass) but once full or nearly full then we strongly advise to purchase a safety chain to add extra security to you Lovelinks bracelet. We do not advise on wearing these to bed, in the bath, cleaning and gardening etc.
The bracelets are made of a snake style design and if they are kinked you then weaken the bracelet and have the potential of it braking, they are only kinked when bent further than the chain allows itself to. Also links on the bracelet are made of glass so can be broken if doing activities that our not suitable to be doing when wearing your Lovelinks bracelet. Please also note that only Lovelinks links fit a Lovelinks bracelet, however Lovelinks links fit all other branded bracelets too!
Whereas with the leather bracelets we do not recommend on customers wearing any more than 6 links on the bracelet at a time as the leather is not as strong and as hard wearing as the silver bracelets.
