Love Links
Lovelinks are a great modern style of a charm bracelet but a much more wearable piece.
You simply buy a bracelet/ necklace of your choice as there a few different styles within the range, you can the simply start adding and creating your collection. Everyone’s bracelet/ necklace’s are unique and would be very rare to fine two that are the same. Some people start their bracelet with one link some with three, five etc, often odd numbers seem to work best and that’s what people choose to go for. You can buy sets of links to get you started which are great and means you save money! Some choose to have all glass links to start with and all throughout their bracelet, some choose all silver and many people often go for a slight mixture to brake the colour up, often people will have they bracelet alternating so glass, silver, glass, silver and so on, some have one silver link to every two glass links and some just random, it’s completely your personal choice!
All of the glass link are made from murano glass and have been handmade so even though two links may look the same up close there will be some variations in them which means every link is completely unique! Again design and look of your bracelet with coloured links, some people stick to all one colour theme some have two or three different colours and others have a random mixture of all colours, the great thing is once you got yourself a small collection you can then purchase different colours and are easily changed other to give your bracelet a whole new look and for it to the fit in with you outfit! Remember they are glass and like anything made of glass if knocked or dropped then you have the chance of it breaking so do be careful when and where you wear your bracelet to prevent any damage taking place to you links.
The silver links are all made from 925 sterling silver, some are gold plated which means they have 14ct yellow gold plating over the top of the silver.
There is a large variety of different silver and gold plated charms (The majority being all silver) and come in a variety of finishes some all highly polished, some satin and some a mix of the two which gives off another effect on you bracelet. Some are just plain style link with not a lot of detail, some more detailed pattered links, then there are links with flowers and heart designs which are always very popular, some that are set with different types and colours of stones for example cubic zirconia and Swarovski crystal. There are animal links which are great and often people have these because off their pet or favourite animal. Also there are things like stars, cocktail glasses, handbags and other things that often tie in with people’s life and life-styles. Also in the silver range there are letters which often people have their initial on and also there children’s and partners initials, also there are numbers which sometimes can represent ages or lucky numbers to people. Then for birthdays they have links with ages engraved/ stone set such as; 16, 18,21,30,40 and 50.
There are also links for other occasions and special memories. For example there are a few different links for weddings which make a lovely wedding gift, a few different links for the birth of a baby which often people give on the birth of a newborn it’s often the father or a relative, and also we have grandparents have a link to represent the baby too! Also there are things like birthday cakes, Easter eggs, a house (great new home present) Car (again great for celebration of somebody passing there driving test) also there is graduation caps and well done book stack, Christmas links, Mothers day and links for a teacher and many more!
Our advice;
We do not recommend on your bracelet being work all of the time, depending on your job we may advise that you should not wear it to work at all. (Example; hairdresser’s where the glass links would continuously be knocked against the wash basin!)
To keep them looking new and clean all the time we recommend on cleaning them with a sterling silver cloth. (These can be purchased in most jewellers). We do not recommend them being worn to bed, in the shower/ bath, gardening, cleaning and or around any chemicals such as perfume (recommend on not putting your bracelet on for approx 5-10mins after applying any perfumes) bleach or chlorine.
